I am 32 years old and am a proud father of a little girl and proud boyfriend of an amazing woman (love you Mika!)  I work as a Law Enforcement Officer here in Florida (State Trooper). Prior to my law enforcement career, I served 8 years in the Marine Corps as an infantry Marine and in my latter years, as a counter intelligence/ human intelligence Marine.

I have been into lifting and the "gym life" since middle school when I joined the weight training program. I have always enjoyed living a moderately healthy lifestyle and working out, but it wasn't until about 3 years ago that I actually consider myself as starting to "train" in gym. I've always had a decent physique and liked the bodybuilders I saw growing up... but never dedicated the time meal prepping and actually developing my body with the proper nutrition, supplementation, and workout regimen.

In September of 2015, I competed in my first competition (men's physique) and I won 3rd place. I was instantly hooked! What started out as merely a "goal" to work towards, became a passion and well-lit fire to improve myself. I competed again this past season (June/July - 2016) and won 1st place and Overall, along with 4th place in a different class. I couldn't be more proud of what I've accomplished.

I firmly believein doing what you love, and loving what you do. I genuinely enjoy sculpting my physique into what I envision in my head. I have a desire to attain my IFBB Pro card, but would like to do that in The Classic Physique division; which means I need to put on MUCH more size. Time to eat!

What I would like people to realize is that having a "great body" doesn't come overnight. Nor does it happen with crazy diets or tricks... it also doesn't mean that you need to compete or take it to that level! It merely means that you make eating healthier and exercising a normal part of your life and routine. The changes WILL come and the results will speak directly to the effort you put in. That's the beauty of this sport (and living healthy in general)... it's You vs You! It's finding new and healthy meal options that satisfy you and help you achieve your goals. It's having fun in the gym and learning how to make "working out" a part of the day that you actually look forward to!

I joined the Urban Athletics team and couldn't be more excited! The fitness apparel is awesome! The group of people I get to call my friends are amazing! And the direction this company is heading is unreal! Stay tuned for some AMAZING workout routines that we've created for everyone from beginners to advanced! They're sure to change things up and give you the results you're looking for!

Take care and be safe people! #betheexception !
